Gaudiya Gosthi Patih Sri Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakur Gosvami Prabhupada says–” I was bound to speak heavily to engage you all in actual Hari Bhajan without anyabilasa, but most of the people they misunderstood me, maybe someday if their luck is good enough then they can understand me– my heart, why I was bound to speak that way. Maybe they can think me as their enemy.”
But only our previous Gaudiya Guruvarga and Sriman Mahaprabhu can understand the heart of Srila Prabhupada. It is said in Chaitany Caritamrita “kai mano vakeye kare udvega na dibo” One should not give anxiety to anybody by body, speech, and mind.
Those who are going to take undue advantage of this quotation of “Chaitanya Caritamrita” to stop speaking about that absolute truth absolute way and going to hide the absolute truth, surely they are going to commit great aparadha unto the Lotus feet of Chaitanya Vani.
But if they are really intelligent then they can understand that those genuine merciful Sadhu- Guru-Vaishnavas speaking heavily to change the heart of common people. Harikatha is actually one kind of operation. Operation is never sweet for anybody. If somebody going to think that way, then he must be a mad nothing else. In the name of Harikatha Haribhajan those who are going to misguide common people we common people are so foolish that we want to be cheated by them that’s why we are cheated.”
Lack of sincerity can put us into the ocean of misery. Sincerity is the first and for most thing in Bhajan life. Common people are so foolish they are not going to think what a great sacrifice is there with those pure Guru-Vaishnavas. They are going to ignore labha, puja, prathista only to save us from Maya. They could easily arrange their own popularity, labha, puja and pratistha through sweet speech only by covering the absolute truth, but they never like to do so. Now we will have to think what a great sacrifice it is.
Those who are not going to speak about that Absolute truth absolute way standing on absolute platform, surely they are not going to follow the mood of “ trinad api sunicha bhava” as shown by Sriman Mahaprabhu.
Srila Prabhupada told that–“If the whole world going against me, still I am not going to stop speaking about that absolute truth absolute way fearlessly with full enthusiasm sanding under the umbrella of the Lotus feet of Gurupadapadma.”
Also Srila Prabhupada used to speak that—“What it concern to me even if those who came to me to take initiation –they are going to leave me.”
Common people can never understand the basic difference between relative truth, and absolute truth. Whole world is always busy with relative truth, they are less interested about the absolute truth. People always going to approve people of their own stamp they never going to think about you and me. They are so materialistic that– what they cannot see, what they can not feel, what they cannot touch, are not ready to believe. They forget the Instruction given by Sri Krsna in Srimad Bhagavt Gita ( 5.22)—
ye hi saṁsparśa-jā bhogā
duḥkha-yonaya eva te
ādy-antavantaḥ kaunteya
na teṣu ramate budhaḥ
O son of Kuntī, pleasures born of contact with the senses are certainly the cause of misery. Since they have a beginning and an end, an enlightened person does not become attached to them.
They do not know that logical interpretation cannot stand in the way of that Absolute truth, that’s why they are so materialistic and always like to jump into the glowing fire of Maya.
Srila Prabhupada Bhaktisiddhanta Gosvami Thakura used to speak that –“ Apparently the topics of Krsna are really perplexing or bewildering. Nobody can even believe that such a super personality is there who is controlling the infinite Universe. We are not going to discuss about any fictitious hero of any novel or story. We are not going to discuss about our mentally concocted figure of Krsna. We are going to discuss about the Absolute Truth. Sri Krsna is the Ultimate Truth.”
